At Red Line Elite
Hockey, we are dedicated to teaching, training, and developing young hockey
players. Summer hockey should be a fundamental part of every player’s training
because that is the time where players can develop, learn, and refine their
skills. We create an atmosphere where a player
can not only excel in, but also learn about work ethic and determination
to achieve success on and off the ice.
Unlike most camps, our camp guarantees a 5:1
instructor to player ratio allowing players to reach their full learning
potential. We run camp one night a week for 80 minutes
on the ice to ensure that the player expends all energy on drills and
situations presented to them. We also hold off ice training before/after each
on ice session to further enhance player’s skills.
Your child will be presented drills and situations they are not accustom to
that will enhance their understanding of positional play as well as scenarios
that will occur during the game of hockey. We believe that a player must be
able to use both edges of the skates as well as both hands of the stick to
achieve success. We strive to make all players become better skaters, puck
handlers, along with emphasis on techniques such as shooting, passing, and
skating.
Along with the fundamentals, your child will learn different ways
to attack the zone during rushes such as 3 on 2 or 2 on 1 attack(s), along with
learning how to take away such scenarios by entering passing lanes. Players
entering our camp can expect fun, innovative ways to teach basic hockey skills
and new techniques that will benefit their play on the ice.
